I have started to breed sighthounds by chance.
I always loved dogs and I had dogs since ever.
In 1992 I got a superbe Afghanhound female as
present from my father. It was love at first sight.
Then, I did not know much about this breed, but
in relative short time I succeded to find out
a lot of things about these wonderful dogs which
are the Afghanhounds. The name of this female
was, I use the past because unfortunatelly she
died at the beginning of 2006, Alba Lovely
Baby and was imported from Russia.When
she got puppies for the first time , I wanted
everything to be done by the book, this means
beside the arbitrations of the female I wanted
to have a recognized kennel name. I was thinking
to have a relevant name to represent me and my
dogs this is why I have chosen " de
Casa Braty " , name which here in
Romania is a historical name , Adriana Bratianu.
I had the joy and luck to find out the wonderful
way of beeing of the Afghanhounds which made me
find out more about sighthounds generally.Well,
in 1999 I bought a whippet male puppy. A dog which
,when you have it and know it , fills your home
with joy. |
